I watched this movie last night knowing nothing besides starring Mel Gibson . As a fan of many years and knowing Mel is getting older I wondered what type of movie this would be and what direction it would take . I wasn't disappointed. Thoroughly enjoyed it from the start , the edge of your seat moments , the genius of certain scenes and of course , ( no spoilers ) but the ending/ pre ending . Took me completely by surprise and I had a moment of " what just happened "? . However , just to say to the people who might be expecting a Mel action movie , this is not one of those . I feel it was better for it . I can't reveal the reasons why without spoilers but I would recommend this movie . Ignore the negativity and enjoy the movie for what it is , namely a damn good edge of your seat drama with an ending that you will not see coming . You will think about it afterwards and realise just how clever this ride has been . Mel is good as always 👍
