I’ve put in eight hours and finished the game, so here are my thoughts.
As a big Fallout fan—and being British—I really enjoyed the storyline, visuals, and voice acting. There’s something strangely entertaining about constantly being ambushed by pesky axe-wielding Welsh bandits, which isn’t something I’ve ever come across in a game before!
That said, there are a few areas where I think the game could improve. The weapon selection feels a bit limited, and I’d love to see more era-appropriate guns with customisation options. Learning ammo recipes would also add a fun layer of depth.
Fast travel would be a welcome addition, mainly to prevent frustration when trying to get to a trader without being attacked for the 50th time by those same pesky bandits. Speaking of combat, the mechanics feel a little clunky at times—movement can be awkward, and I’ve died more than once because I couldn’t step over a tiny rock or bush that might as well have been a brick wall.
Despite these issues, I had a great time with it. There’s enough of that classic British charm to keep things entertaining for at least one full playthrough.
