Echo Brooke

I love this show. As a huge fan of the originals I was scared this was going to be just another terrible spin-off and not do justice to the movies especially the 1991 version. Let me just say though this did it justice. The cast was perfectly picked and I really love Jenna Ortega as Wednesday. She gives a great performance and even the little details of her act make it just so much better. The others did a really great job as well. The plot of this is really good and it really gets you invested in the story. With a lot of story lines that all somehow come together in a really good and satisfying way it was just perfect. While it does still have references and have some of that Wednesday charm that I always loved it is it's own thing. The characters have their own personality that is both realistic to the past and gives it more of a modern feel. It also really shows her grown up and what she would be like as a teenager. The love interests in this story while I did not think were necessary were good and while still not my favorite still they could have done a lot worse than what they did. This is a really good show and I do think she should give it a watch. With twists and turns and things I did not see coming and trust me when I say a watch a lot of TV and most times can figure stuff like that out, some things even good me. With a great plot and cast and even a throw back to 1991 Wednesday with Christina Ricci (Sorry if I spelled that wrong) who played Wednesday in that it is truly amazing.
