I just received this book as a gift and was looking forward to reading it. However, the neon colored orangey and green print interspersed throughout the book makes it impossible to read fluidly. No matter how I hold the book up to the light the orange and green print all but disappear. The neon orange color is so bright that it competes with the daylight for clarity. If the sun is shining you can forget about it.
I wonder if the authors had a say in the final publishing of this book. The layout and the font make it a challenge to read. The content seems valid and worthwhile especially when talking about balance.
The goal to tie in eating healthily and good mental health make sense.
But, I must point out, that for me, the format of the book (orange neon coloring, pale green coloring and the fine font print bouncing off the pages are not lifting my mood or bringing me joy.
I now realize why some publishers add at the end of a book the font that the book is written in and why it makes such a difference in the enjoyment of the book. This format is giving me a headache as I am missing a lot of the content that is being explained in part one of the book.
Fortunately, part 2 doesn't appear, at first glance to have this problem.
I'd be interested to know if anyone else has experienced this problem.
