Mel Gibson, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Walt Goggins do pretty nice job in a good story of a jilted young screwed up boy, angry with his life who wants to take it out on Santa. No Braveheart or Lethal Weapon quality in this one. Very offbeat dark Christmas movie of sorts. While it does offer some action set in the winter beauty of Canada, it's clearly not what most people would expect for a Santa movie, but is fun in a very non-Christmas way. If you like offbeat, this movie is for you.
