Great premise - aliens who've mastered the art of controlling popular opinion visit earth, with undefined but evil intent. Presence of "good" aliens adds to potential for drama. The show starts off strong, but it's ruined by progressively lazier writing. Towards end of season 1 they're basically insulting the audience's intelligence - it requires great credulity to buy into & stay engaged with the plot. The aliens switch between being super competent, high tech demi-gods to inept / technologically deaf n dumb per plot convenience. The "heroes" need an unbelievable amt of luck, deus ex machinas and convenient alien incompetence for their coups to succeed.

Acting & Cinematography is really great. Music / background score is superb. Good premise & goes along well until the middle episodes. Gets bit lazy after that and stretches credibility at times. Still kept me engaged for most part. Worth watching for many solid acting performances, cinematography and music.
