This is a very interesting approach to the narrative of Tolkien.
Can't be compared with the Silmarilion content but, it illustrate very well worlds that I've tried to imagine from Tolkien mythology.
Also, adds some elements that help in developing the storyline, and is useful to certainly visualize how the different elves reigns were organized.
I recommend this show to any LOR lover, even if does not follow the original version of the Silmarillion is a great effort that deserves recognition. The presence of all new actors and characters probably slow down the acceptation of the show, but, I think that as the show progress will be much better.
