I do love Selena!!! If she were to be here today she would of Slade Hollywood. Miss her! But for the series I do give the actors 5 thumbs up! Best performance I do see and I’m sure the family is proud of it. But for white washing some Latin producers was kinda a thing, Hollywood has to have a say in everything I know some actors need to have their moments but never play a Latin person this isn’t the 1950s anymore cast Hispanic or Latin person as a Hispanic or Latin person. Either way to say the series could go more into depth about Selena’s life, it just felt like more of a remake to me from the movie. Also they had everyone hyped up for this series and each episode is about 30 to 40 minutes long wasn’t really expecting that again actors were amazing series not so good I’m sorry to say that as for someone that does love film and any TV series or short series this one by far I do give two stars which sucks for me to say. Just more disappointed in the white washing. Why Hollywood give Latin Hispanic blacks any other ethnicity a chance into showing what they can do thank you all I have to say.
