I absolutely love this book. The narration from our main character, Isidore, felt very personal, giving us an unfiltered view of his family after the passing of their father (the father). The telling felt almost like a diary, though it was more observational that emotional.
I will say, the ending made me cry a bit. It was very beautiful.
