Of we are talking about Spielberg's 1985 classic, how are you classifying it as a "Musical Thriller"?
It does use music to great advantage, but I saw no espionage or bloodletting any of the fifty or more times that I've watched it.
I did, however see a visually stunning film that brought me to tears of sadness and joy several times throughout. It is a wonderful movie.
