I love this movie so much. 100% recommend. I loved it from the atmosphere to the characters, everything fit, and I wasn't left thinking why something had happened. ngl The ending got me. It got me hard, I cried. Ugly cried. I loved Marnie and Anna's relationship, though I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it after the revel.
!!!SPOILER!!! (also rant... a lot of emotions)
I shipped them. During the forest scene (they said " I Love you" multiple times), as well as when they danced in the backyard all I wanted was a kiss on the forehead, or hand, but then we found out about who Marnie was (I already guessed she was a ghost) and I'm not sure if i should forget abut the ship, or erase the ending from my mind. I loved the ending so the internal struggle is real, my gay heart isn't ready to throw away the love for them, but my big ol brain says its wrong (well it's kind of true, she was her grandma... ibuiyvfyulkydjtogi) This probably wasn't that helpful, i just needed to tell someone, and if this falls on deaf ears so be it.
lol. Anyway this was and still is a great movie, and I think anyone who is everyone should watch it. Hopefully it won't be as emotional for you as it was for me.
