Seems more like a fictionalized story and conjecture than factual. It doesn't really progress in a time line sequence as it keeps flipping and jumping around for the evolutionary scale. The scale of animals,insects, etc. is not in proportion to the landscape scene in much of the film. It is difficult to imagine the size of some creatures. The hype overrated this series.
