I have been playing RPG games for quite a long time, I first tried fallout 2 back in 2005 but I know it was released long before that. Ive been hooked on the Fallout franchise video games ever since then. And being a big fan I must say that Bethesda really came through for all the Fallout fans on this TV series. But the only thing that keeps me from giving this show a 5/5 is the attention to details of show and compare to the video games. And I must say that the details were only about 90% accurate to the video games. For example in the show, the power armored brotherhood soldiers exit the vertibirds by a cable tether and lowered down to the ground, whereas in the video games the power armored soldiers jump out of the vertibirds at any altitude and land on the ground completely unharmed. The power armor in the video games have built in shock absorbers to protect the user from fall damage. And another detail that I am nit picking on is that the show has power armor with jet thrusters coming out of the hands, whereas in the video games theres actual jetpack devices that can be applied to the back of the armor like in the Mandalorian series. Another thing that I noticed about this Fallout series is that there was no use of energy weapons which the BOS in the video games took advantage of very seriously. The show only had cartridge style firearms. But given that this is only the first season and Bethesda will bring us more seasons to come, hopefully the producers will give us more contents that are more accurate and true to the Fallout video games.
