This is the first time that I've seen a movie so complex that it's actually self defeating: it's so wrapped up in its own
internal logic that they forgot to make a film! Apart from the incredibly poor sound quality, the script is terrible, the characters (wooden) have to continually explain what's going on. It lacks any soul whatsoever. Nolan has managed to pull off the greatest 'inversion' trick of them all: he's finally managed to disappear up his own black hole.
