Daniel Krohn (Dan)

I have loved Lindsey Ellis for years. I really wanted to love Axiom's End, but couldn't. I found the writing really stunted and awkward. Maybe that's the barely an adult narrator, but it really undercut the story every time it was trying to be profound. I really liked how the aliens were handled conceptually. I liked Nils as an absent yet overbearing presence. His shadow hangs over the entire story. Unfortunately, I just don't think the writing was carried out well. It sort of seems like a less talented writer rewrote a very good story.
