When the writer is a fellow musician, that puts the musician being interviewed at ease, this sets the tone. Bob is a friend of mine and I see the attention to detail that he puts into his chosen life’s work. When he is not watching a concert, attending a festival, doing a radio show on a small but vibrant community station , he is producing the Tiny Desk Concerts for NPR at the mother location in the Nation’s Capitol. These mini-views ( each chapter) are both precious and poignant. We are fortunate to have these essays. Thank you my friend and to the public I say “Buy the book”!
