Iโm what you would call a new-old or old-new bookworm, however, you want to put it. I grew up with a love for books and reading but life happened and I slowly strayed away from my first love, reading. Until recently.
As I finished another book feeling satisfied but not happy; I found myself self thinking, what would make me love a book???
Not a single thought crossed my mind.
And then I read A Winter In New Yorkโฆ
In the beginning, I wasnโt able to get past the first few chapters for the simple fact that I loved them so much and read them thrice. ๐
This book gave me all the feels and memories of watching my favorite romcoms on a lazy summer night or over a long winter weekend cuddled up in a warm blanket.
It has everything I could ever want from Romantic comedy. From the sentiments to the heartaches, I loved it all! And how can you not love the Schitts Creek references?
As I reached the last few chapters I cried because I just didnโt want it to end then my husband reminded me I could always read it again. And I will.
This book hit me on a personal level, especially after taking me through a once-familiar journey.
I was over the moon when Bobby stepped right up and took out Adam. Or at least he tried, but it's the thought that counts!
I look forward to reading more and more from Josie Silver because I think I may have found my new favorite author. ๐
I sincerely thank you for this amazing book.
