Excellent. Very topical, disrespectful amd insightful accunt of a troubled man that's all but given up on life after receiving a painfully hard knock. A brilliantly scripted and beautifully acted series by the entire cast, from the local sex worker to the nosey postman. When was tbe last time you watched a series and loved every character? The brief chats on the park bench with a widow were simply perfect, brringing abpainful lump to my yhroat but nit in an overlybsentimental way. British comefuc drama at its very finest. A short and sweet series, soon to be copied and expanded in a second rate american version: it really is that good!

Like it so far. Great to see the best character from Flight of the Conchirds back on telly as the Captain, but the adoption of American expressions by British characters grates a fair amount: 'Can we light it on fire' instead of 'can we set it on fire' or even 'can we burn it' ...seriously? Too difficult fur the American audience to comprehend? Worth watching.
