Of all the Tom Hanks movies, this is a top five. It's a gangster's tale wrapped in a fathers and sons story inside a revenge movie. Did I mention It's also a coming of age movie? Directed by Sam Mendes (1917, American Beauty), the pace, character development, musical score and cinematography are all perfection. Make time to watch this movie without comercial interruption.

This is one of the best Mashups of horror/sci-fi I have seen. Guillermo del Toro is a master of this genre and he hits it out of the park with this one. Unlike many series, "The Strain" has an ending that us satisfying.
