Lush is one of the greatest teenage-relating books of all time . It displays hardships in a teenager's life as well as the I portable of letting it out by telling a trusted someone although they do not know u at all. It's about a teenager who's problem is a drunkard father . She plays the role of taking responsibility as her mother is also going through a lot and tries to ignore the situation . She tries her best to protect her younger brother from noticing everything at home Ina negative view. The books also shows that it is better to keep family matters to yourself than to share with friends . Sam doesn't tell Vanessa and Angie and Tracie anything about he'd family problems but chooses to tell a stranger who doesn't even know her about her problems which was smart and non risky . The book also outlines the importance of not trusting everyone and calling them true friends. Peter plays a negative friend role who betrayed his best friend Sam and their friendship ended. Therefore it is wise to he careful who u call a friend. The book is targeted to teens who might or might not have problems, but portrays a wise message of being strong and responsible and also wise too. I would recommend any teen to read the book as it might help change their view on most things
