I knew of Maria Callas so I looked forward to seeing her life. Angelina Jolie is a competent actress it was the story that was depressing and boring. Jolie just looked into the distance forlornly. Some of the other actors accents were such that I had trouble understanding some of their dialogue. Why do directors do this? They speak so low that the volume has to be turned up then the music is so loud you have to turn it down. Why couldnโt the story show more of the triumphs in Callasโs life. Onassis was such a huge presence in her life yet they devoted more time to the butler. What was the significance of the guy who was interviewing her? Just filler stuff. Callas deserved a better telling of her life. Waste of 2 hours.
