This is definitely one of the most iconic K-series I have ever seen. The low ratings are primarily due to viewers disliking how their favorite characters died early and their dissatisfaction with the ending. However, I believe the ending reflects the reality of humanity: the bad ones often benefit the most and remain until the end. There are many themes worth contemplating that encourage self-reflection. I will never forget this drama, and I’m sure it will be one of the most iconic dramas in the television industry.

It’s a very unique storyline. I saw many negative comments from Koreans, but it turns out to be very interesting and exciting to watch. I’m on episode 4 and can’t wait to see more; all the actors are doing so well!

A profoundly impactful drama that reminds nowadays people of the brutal treatment inflicted by the Japanese on Korea and other Asian countries merely 80 years ago.
