Good show. Not up to Peaky Blinders but it’s entertainment, not art. That said, I appreciated the modern soundtrack. It, and the current naysayers reminded me of Heath Ledger’s movie The Knight’s Tale which incorporated modern rock into a period price. In this case, contemporary Irish rock and yes, hip hop (I think that’s still the term!) which is aggressive and in Gaelic. I’m not a rap/hip hop fan and I still thought it good. If you like Flogging Molly or the Dropkick Murphy’s you may appreciate it’s use as well!
