I have a 1928 copyright book with white paper cover. I lived in Alaska for 30 yrs. I was a dog musher for 15 yrs. This was a wonderful way to experience what life was like, and strangely how you can apply what happens in our politics by the divorce of two mining partners when they decided to part. Almost hilarious to read a book 90 yrs old depicting two men (parties) splitting everything in half they own together and the reaction of the camp people laughing at how they can literally split everything in half (tent included) to make a point of how mad two people can be other possessions. This is just chapter one. I relate my life directly to my life in Alaska where life wasn't that different during my time there. Highly recommended.
