Much like sketch comedy. The movie acts like a Monty Python film. Which is par for the course since two actors co-wrote and appeared in The Magic Christian were also in the Monty Python Troope. Peter Sellers also had a hand in writing some of the scripts. Basically what it boils down to is what will people do for money. The answer is quite obvious in every scene.
