A wonderfully crafted movie which captured the many emotional facets of family life. The movie was in black and white with subtitles but this added to the mood of the movie giving it offbeat quirky feel. The role of Cleo the devoted family servant with her own dilemmas reflects feminine vulnerability, strength and resilience. It is a bitter sweet movie set in Mexico during the 1970’s. It was certainly worth watching.
