I love the intention of the story. But the acting is extremely painful to watch. I couldn't bare the childishness of the act. Overacting. Repetitions. Cliche. Stereotypes.
How can a grown up adult not be able to tell if some is breathing or not? At least.
That show doesn't cast blacks esp women in a good light at all.
It's time Tyler drops this "I can do all things" and "work ethics" attitude and engage writers and directors that could make his works far more beautiful. It is no longer I-know-it-all age where you're the creator, director, writer and producer. One person! The big movies don't do that. Not because the directors, or producers or script writers don't have "work ethics". You can't be a master of all. Open up Mr Perry. Don't paint blacks black.
I'm really really annoyed and sad at the production of this potentially great series. I wish it was scripted, directed and acted far far better.
