As a gamer who has NEVER played a turn based rpg before, this game is THE absolute pinnacle of gaming I have ever played in my entire life. The story of this game is something that transcends language and media and touches your very soul. I went into this game completely blind with only watching spoiler free reviews praising the game and I was blown away by the quality of this game. Every second I played, the game just kept surprising me with new story elements, engaging battles, brilliantly crafted characters voiced by some of the best voice actors of our time. Charlie Cox and Andy Serkins as usual knocked it outta the park. I can without a doubt say that this is a game everyone has to experience at least once irrespective of if you are a fan of jrpgs. I would highly recommend you play this game without looking into the story online or watching anything that may spoil it for you. Trust me when I say this, you will rob yourself of the best cinematic experience ever if you get the story spoiled for you. I suggest just look into the team behind this game and the developers. I personally bought the game full price even though I had game pass just because I wanted to support this small team of incredible artists that brought to life this masterpiece out of pure dedication and love. I would also suggest anybody who is thinking of trying this game out to do the same if you can to support people like them who keep gaming alive through passion projects like this. Edit: Forgot to mention the phenomenal soundtrack and music. Absolutely one of the main highlights of the game and this was just the first game the music director worked on! So stoked about the future of this franchise.

Brilliant movie that really makes you think about the masterpiece that you've watched long after you leave the movies. The acting was top notch and the director really just went all out for this one.
