John C. Reilly is very good in everything he does; in Winning Time he rises to new heights. We have to like his character, Dr. Buss, for the story to work and damn it, we actually do! With all his, shall we say, less than stellar lascivious choices*, we are impressed by his basketball and business choices. Hooked here from the first few minutes of Ep. 1. * I do not want to spoil but the more I think about this aspect of his character the more I realize how it works as part of the big picture of his life.
