The movie Don't Move made me not want to move. I watched this movie with my wife because it was listed as Top 1 in Movies on Netflix.
Don't Move is a comedy movie about a suicidal mom Iris, from Goo Goo Dolls gets paralyzed by Diddy's cousin Richard and trues to escape. She visited his son's "grave" on a National Park somewhere in California in the early morning (I assume National Park somewhere the west because the Subaru Forrester have California License Plates.) Richard, a man who went up the trail where Iris was at, saw her as she was about to grant her own wish to see her son.
Richard, being a gentleman that he is, knows what Iris was about to do so he tried stopping Iris from being able to see her son. Richard then shocked Iris as she was about to go to her own vehicle. Richard then injected Iris with Diddy Juice to paralyze her to conduct Diddy activities in his cabin.
Richard is a poorly planned antagonist. In an Era of technology, he should've searched up how videos on how to kidnap people because he is not so cash money about it. Richard talked Iris out of her own wish for him to assist her. They both walked down to their vehicles. Iris could have fitted in her driver's side vehicle instead of talking to Richard and the movie would have been over. Instead, she played along.
If Iris jumped, the movie could have ended and she would have seen her son. Iris could have done a lot of things differently. Number 1, she is married so she should not be talking to any man especially a stranger in a National Park. Nunber 2, she was on a National Park which she visits a lot. She should have a back up plan such as First Aid, Pepper Spray, or self defense, and a map of the trails on the National Park. Also if she installed cameras in her vehicle, she would have reported it to the police.
The death of two casualties didn't make sense. Why would the first guy not lock his door? also why would the sheriff not handcuff Richard? Why didn't the sheriff bring back up?
Overall, Don't Move was a unorganized comedy movie. I enjoyed it, but not in a good way. It's like grabbing a happy meal but without the toy.
I learned that I should have not moved and pressed play.
