Even the term "classic" does not suffice to speak of the magnificence of this film. . Late Rajesh Khanna ji breathed life into the character of Anand. . The same can be said about Bachan Saab who essayed the role of Bhaskar Banerjee- the doctor who is frustrated with the limitations of medical profession. I simply lost count of the number of times that I watched this film, during the course of past three decades. It is indeed pathetic that such meaningful films have now become rarities!!!
