I’ve never written a movie review before but I HAD TO for this. I purchased Freakier Friday from Prime today and I figured it would be at least mildly entertaining and worth the $24 but oh my goodness…this movie beyond exceeded my expectations. It had me crying tears of laughter by myself in the middle of a Thursday afternoon - Jamie Lee Curtis as a comedy actress is so underrated. I laughed out loud a handful of times (to the point of tears not once, but twice) and the humor throughout the movie was also perfectly balance with nostalgia and heart. Sequels are always a risk when the original is a classic but this movie knocked it out of the park - highly recommend.
