This was a fun movie. Tom Cruise was funny in his usual Tom Cruise way. But...it really irks me when Hollywood dips into mythology and gets it wrong. And this was really wrong. Set was the god of chaos, not of death. Set killed his brother Osiris. Then, when Osiris was resurrected, Osiris ascended to become god of death and rebirth, demoting Anubis, the original god of death, to god of embalming. Set was never anything other than the god of chaos. Confusing? Maybe. But at least it's accurate. Other than this glaring poke in the eye of Ra (haha), it was a fun movie that I'd watch again, in spite of the fact that I can't make myself give it more than 3 stars for inaccuracy.
