So much gratuitous violence and gore that I felt visually assaulted. Although I enjoyed the comic book aesthetic of the first Suicide Squad movie, I hated this one. I prefer more character development. Maybe it was assumed that the audience had already read enough comics to have all the nuances of the mains. I am not the target audience. The music is terrific though. John Murphy's score is FANTASTIC.
