I read the novel as a teen, and I have to say it's so captivating and keeps u guessing till the very end. The only thing that bothered me that there were a lot of F- words. I don't know if it's in every edition of the book or not but in mine it was. As a teen, I wouldn't say a 12-14 yr old can't understand the context but I really don't like the - scenes (tho they r brief) but the suspense and the thriller is just ✨✨✨ and they're isn't much violence in the book. Overall it's awesome
