I just finished the Dahmer series on Netflix. First off, Evan Peters was magnificent! To bring himself into the depths of darkness that he had to go and stay there for as long as he needed to finish such a project had to put a huge nick in his psyche. I, myself came out the other side of this series with such mixed feelings. For the first time in all my research of serial killers, I could almost feel empathy for the monster. Never in my life have I nearly cried for the killer. Don’t get me wrong, Netflix was not my only means of research. It brought out my interest in learning more. My heart goes out to all the families who lost their loved ones. I lost a friend to a serial killer which instilled that deep seeded need to understand, why? So I read, watch, listen to everything on the subject and have from a young age. Lastly, Ryan Murphy you did an amazing job.
