What did I miss? I know that in many respects I watched this film out of its time..perhaps if I'd seen it in 1992 it would have resonated differently, but sitting in 2022 I just can't see what the fuss was/is about. It's a very basic story about a diamond heist that is foiled by the police having an undercover cop on the gang . Using a series of flash backs we see how each member of the gang is recruited and hear their story as the heist unravels leaving all the gang and various innocent bystanders and police officers dead. Typically Tarantino it's violent and rather disjointed but reveals nothing startling in a fairly ordinary telling of a robbery told from the robbers perspective. I was left distinctly underwhelmed.
