I couldn't tell if the movie was originally supposed to be serious. It was extremely comical from beginning to end. The acting was terrible. I didn't realize going into the movie that their was going to be all sorts of other creatures involved such as a massive octopus and land creatures that ate people. I never went to the first movie so I went into it blind sighted. It's two thumbs down for me.๐๐
