This game had so much promise, I suppose thatโs why itโs left me heartbroken. I was really looking forward to another souls like game. But there were too many glaring issues for me to really get into it. First off, it takes an act of god to get her off the ground if sheโs been knocked down. Leaving her open to punishing follow up attacks from bosses. Next, upgrading your healing items being apart of the skill tree is the most unacceptable way to do it. Not only did I not realize I was short on them, but how on earth are the game developers supposed to balance the bosses? They donโt know if youโre running on the base three healing items or five. The NPCs arenโt anything special, I guess they arenโt bad either. But I play these games for the combat, not the plot. And the combat has left me severely disappointed. Play this one if you want, I wouldnโt pay too much money for it though.
