Since I was 19, I read this book about every ten years. The first time I read it blew my mind. The second time it seemed heavy. The 3rd time it was sad to me, that Jim cut his life so short. The 4th time I read it I was 50 years old. By then I had a good memory of the stories & events of Jim's life. I certainly enjoy telling my friends & young people about the long lasting impact that The Doors had on the Rock n Roll culture & industry. Now, it's time to read the book "No One Here Gets Out Alive" & I'm looking forward to it.
