It was heartbreaking, but yet interesting to see someone focus so much on their goals and never accomplished them, and to see his idol take advantage of him, knowing that he had struggled with mental health in his own challenges of achieving his goals. It was interesting that it seemed he could never fit in, but yet he pushed himself. It was hard to watch him, wanting to do horrible things, but also wanting him to do those things because of the hurt people stored upon him.

It’s eye opening but heartbreaking at the same time. I was disappointed by the way the transgenders came for women, it seem more like a competition and a take over vs. an appreciation for women. I get life is hard as a transgender but it should never be an attack on women. I did like the exposure to black men in the life style, it’s an awareness black women need to see

I hope more people watch the series, however As many people have said, the series was difficult to watch, sometimes the truth can be ugly. When I talked to friends about the movie many have said “I can’t watch b/c I will get mad” I completely understand and agree, but if you can take the information to make a change it is all worth it However in the story line you can see so much love and needing to belong from black people just to see it breakdown into hate. Black people who just couldn’t fight back anymore eventually lost their minds or hurt each other.

Sad but true.... hope viewers see this as real history
