Seriously disappointed. I was truly hoping this would have some meat & I could savor the episodes instead it left me starved for substance. I haven't enjoyed any American series as of late I tend to lean to international shows due to depth of plot engaging characters & excellent reality based writing so I was excited seeing the cast , I can say the acting was decent( Tucci spoke not much acting required )for this over achieving salad of a series .The subject matter interesting yet it veered so off course & painfully over the top scenarios I couldn't bear much more &so I hit fast foward through last 2 episodes to just see ending which left me with a stomach ache it was so awful . I am quite surprised with the reviews ,most people thought it was awful based on same issues & the ones who thought it was great I am curious to know what there normal viewing habits are & shocked the few they said it shouldn't be taken seriously & need to be light hearted. Which isnt possible in its subject matter. What kinda of person writes a script thinks a Vicar who protects a pedophile
is great story plot & does so in "opps we had a misunderstanding" sitcom format?
