Monica Arbuckle

The concept sounded so good on paper: a mermaid, kidnapped from the ocean and taken away to be studied. How cool. The reality, however, was that this movie was a complete mess from beginning to end. I struggled to keep up with the disjointed plot and the confusing cast of characters who did little to propel the story forward. Half of the time I couldn't understand what the hell was going on, there were just people and events all over the place. I finished it, but I still have no idea what the movie was even about.
