Yes yes yes yes yes. All the songs are so good. If you listen on Spotify listen to the 10 year anniversary album b/c it has Juice which is one of the best songs imo.

At first I thought this album would be a dream come true. I found it by listening to Thundercat on shuffle, and I love both Thundercat and jazz. And the first time I listened to it I really liked it. But then, as I started paying closer attention to the sounds, I realized that I was actually getting irritated, and what was causing that irritation was the drums. I love jazz drumming, and I myself, being a drummer, can appreciate good drumming, and I’m not saying the drumming is bad, it’s just too much. It’s super hyperactive and unique, and I really like the way it sounds but just as a garnish, if that makes sense. It’s like if there’s some of it here and there it can sound amazing but when it’s everywhere in every song beginning to end, it can get very stale. So yeah, but that might just irritate me since I’m a drummer. I’d give it a shot, but I personally am not a fan.
