Sally Lindsay a Pound land Sarah Lancashire in a story line that could have been written for panto. Sally cannot act and the scriptwriters should be sacked. A totally unbelievable script from wooden actors . The "baddie " been the only one who could act . The series just lurches from bad to worse . Avoid

This is like a poor relative of Murder She Wrote coupled with Agatha Christie . Banal script , totally unbelievable. Steve Edge is a very talented actor , why on earth he took this role is beyond me . Basically the plot relies on Sally Lindsay's character finding her husband had another woman in France (definately not France ) and she ends up a super sleuth , who is offered a job with the local police ; even though she can't speak French . Meanwhile some woman in red shoes is pinching high end jewellery . I keep waiting for Scooby Doo and Shaggy to appear . It's farcical. The highlight is watching the hamster on top of Sally Lindsay head get bigger in different scenes and Robin Asquith toupee just perched there. Avoid this programme , it makes you want to count the cracks in the ceiling , watch paint dry etc
