I couldn't make it any farther than the arcade scene because of the awful music.

It's ok, not great. A lot of stupid conversations in the book. A few times I thought something was mentioned because something would come of it, but it never did. Too much conversations about things no one really cares about except teenagers. What's with the "yeah" at the end of the characters sentences throughout the book? This takes place in the US, not the UK. I thought that was weird and annoying. I also noticed some errors such as "shaking his head yes". It would be nodding head yes, shaking head no.
