Overall the movie script was good. But I didn’t like the acting of Kangana. India Gandhi was a strong and bold lady but in this movie Kangana didn’t do justice to her Mrs. Gandhi’s character. Kangana failed to express the confidence in Indira Gandhi’ face. Since she was the director of the film I think nobody has given a honest opinion about her acting .

Another extraordinary movie from Lijo Jose Pellissery’s brain. I have been waiting to watch this movie alone at home. But in the climax I just thought if somebody was there to console me. It’s a kind of non dramatic movie. I felt like LJP set a hidden camera in a village and did the shooting 😛. All the scenes are realistic and the fine actors made it look quite natural. Mammuty’s acting was outstanding. The set of the film is a traditional Tamil village. The director of photography did a marvelous work. The picturesque landscape of a traditional village will give us a calm and peaceful atmosphere. In terms of the story it’s a haunting one for me. Because I could relate it to my life. I am living the life of Sundaram’s wife Poonkuzhali. I have been thinking about her emotions while watching the movie. Losing your life partner is never easy. I have been always thinking about the day he could come back to normal life and just continuing our happy life as nothing happened. Poonkuzhali also were dreaming about a day that her husband coming back to normal life. When suddenly it happened and she got shocked and she can’t believe her eyes and ears. Jame’s (Mammuty) parakayapravesham to Sundaram’ s life is the turning point in the movie. In the end my wish was that Mammooty to continue his life as Sundaram. A must watch movie especially for LJP fans. Thank you LJP..You are a gentleman who can understand the deepest emotions of a single mother and you have pictured it in an elegant way. This cannot be considered as a movie review because I am writing this in the point of view of Poonkuzhali and I can always think in that way only. She is me… Poonkuzhali..
