The two stars have lost their chemistry. Their banter seems far less authentic. The comedy in this film is not as sharp as in the previous films. The supporting cast of AMMO seem like the most unlikely bunch of cops. They don't seem to gel well with each other or the stars. It's as if they're misfits. Whether that was on purpose or not, it wasn't entertaining. Furthermore, the story of Mike and his son wasn't presented as effectively as it could have been. It felt like a makeshift piece of the plot rather than a gradual and natural part of the story. I believe some of the fight scenes were computer generated images. I found this disappointing because surely a stunt double could have been used. Overall, this film didn't not live up tonthe high standards of its predecessors. I don't feel this movie added much value to the franchise.
