Tour de force. Lap up Joaquin Phoenix's delicious take on a disgusting main dish. As a dessert, though you didn't order it, you may find yourself appreciating this unique reimagining of Batman's origins.

[Possible mild story spoiler follows.] A worthy sequel to an absolute classic. 9/10. If gameplay mechanics had been extended a bit more vs. Part I, this game would rate a 10. (But perhaps Part I's are nearly perfect, to begin with.) The story is brilliant. A hero becomes more an antihero and a villain is shown to be valiant and human. I would have preferred a more final ending than I got - but I understand the imperative to leave room for a possible Part III. TW: One of your characters will be forced to kill animals (self-defense). Lots and LOTS of background notes in TLoUPart2. Some have complained that this is a cop-out. But I didn't mind them. They lent a solemn depth to the setting.
