Death Stranding is absolutely superb. I can however see why so many believe otherwise. Before you embark on you great Death Stranding journey you should know that it's a game that demands careful thought and planning and requires the player to exercise quite a lot of patience and dedication. This isn't going to appeal to everyone, and if you're not truly ready and prepared to play then you could give up long before you've reached the point where you're able to form an informed opinion. Get the game and begin your journey when you know you're ready to give it all of your attention, and then you'll surely love it.

I've played most Zelda games through to completion and feel Link's Awakening (2019) is very entertaining but nothing truly special. The worst aspect is the lack of direction given to the player at key moments in the game, which may leave you wondering what to do next. Admittedly, you have the telephone and owl prompts, but what's really missing is a mission log on the menu screen which can push you in the right direction. Those looking for the best Zelda game in this top-down format would do well to purchase A Link Between Worlds, which I feel is a far better product. I rate TLOZLA 6/10, based upon the quality of other games in the series.

I played Kingdom Hearts 3 for about 2.5hrs, and struggled to see how anyone can give it a good review. Admittedly it looks and sounds great, and seems to start about 3 times at the beginning, really building expectations. However it then presents its characters and gameplay for the attention of small children but describes your interaction in an overly complicated way. The combat is also the clumsiest I've ever encountered. To be honest, after paying careful attention to the entire 2.5hrs I wasn't sure what was going on and felt the components were barely joined at all. You may feel different and therefore I don't suggest the title is simply overlooked, so give it a try if you are curious. You may not be left feeling the game was designed in one hour and directed by binary code programmers.

Gears 5 is a huge leap forward for the series. Both sound and vision are amazing, the storyline intriguing, the controls bettered over its predecessors, and the game's structure revolutionised. I consider this installment to be Gears of War meets God of War, largely due to the structure and presentation. The XBOX needed a superb console exclusive, and found it in Gears 5. I use the XBOX 1X, and clearly Gears 5 shows just how formidable the console can be.

Make sure you wait until after the titles as there's a significant chunk of the game that comes after, and it makes the whole game make a lot more sense. Control is superb, but tough. I play in normal mode and have found the game demands you master your weapons, abilities and applied enhancements, and match them to the task at hand along with a well developed strategy. Can I compare it to other games? It's something like a mix between Res2, Dark Souls and Alan Wake. Casual gamers should chose easy mode, which is clearly designed to be a comfortable experience. Those demanding a tough challenge need normal mode. Those wanting severe punishment can play on difficult mode (I suggest this mode is only played on a powerful pc, capable of delivering at least 60fps). On all its a great, original game. There's also a couple of expansions coming soon, so there's plenty to keep you busy. Well worth the release price.
